Advising
Admission as a first-time, full-time undergraduate student to The University of Findlay requires an earned diploma from an accredited high school in a college preparatory course of study or a GED certificate. Candidates for admission should successfully complete a minimum in the following areas:
In addition, all candidates must submit the results of either the American College Testing Program (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Other indicators of academic and personal success may also be considered. Letters of recommendation, the secondary school report, an essay, or campus visit may be required for some candidates.
Application for admission deadline
Students who intend to major in equestrian studies or pre-veterinary medicine are encouraged to complete the application as early as possible, due to limited space available in these programs. The application deadline for fall semester is Aug. 15, and for the spring semester the deadline is Dec. 15.
2010-2011 $36,418 ($27,608 tuition).
UF Athletic Scholarship: Contact the coaching staff for each sport.
Business Affiliates: Awarded by University Colleagues Advisory Board to returning students.
UF Music and Theatre Scholarship: Awarded by faculty in the College of Liberal Arts.
Dean’s Scholarship: $12,000. Based on student’s GPA and SAT/ACT score when first admitted.
President’s Scholarship: $13,000. Based on student’s GPA and SAT/ACT score when first admitted.
Trustee’s Scholarship: $14,000. Based on student’s GPA and SAT/ACT score when first admitted.
Findlay Award: $9,000. The Office of Financial Aid determines based on the GPA and the SAT/ACT scores of the student when first admitted.
