The College of Sciences provides students with an understanding of the impact of science on their lives, skills and knowledge necessary in today's technological society, and preparation for their future lives and careers.

Goals for the College of Sciences are to:

1. Focus on continuous program and course assessment, improving curricula, services and support for student learning. 
2. Develop new programs for an increasingly diverse student body.
3. Establish cooperative recruiting and outreach activities
4. Enhance student services for advisement, retention, and career preparation.
5. Promote and support faculty and staff development for all COS faculty
6. Improve COS facilities, i.e., well-equipped classrooms, labs, equipment, buildings, field sites, etc.
