Welcome -
The University of Findlay Medication Therapy Management Consultation Center (MTMCC) started in 2006 with the hope of providing pharmacy students an opportunity beyond that of a typical drug information center.

The MTMCC supports the College of Pharmacy's Mission Statement by:

• Educating and providing students with pharmacy related resources necessary for the delivery of accurate patient care
• Working within the local community to provide students with service based opportunities in order for them to build and apply their knowledge of drug information and therapy management  

Purpose -
The purpose of the MTMCC is to develop strong pharmacists by challenging them to combine their drug information and literature evaluation skills with medication therapy management (MTM).  In the past it has been assumed that drug information and MTM were separate, but as part of the collaborative teaching approach, students learn that strong MTM skills require strong drug information skills.

Mission-
"The mission of the Medication Therapy Management Consultation Center is to provide the skills and opportunities for student pharmacists to respond to variety of drug information and medication therapy management requests."
Examples of MTM in the community: 

• The MTMCC has successfully partnered with Marathon Oil to provide a variety of pharmacy related Lunch and Learn lectures as well as cholesterol screening services.  
• The MTMCC seeks to meet a variety of drug information and medication management needs, including, but not limited to, contract writing services, pharmacy consulting services and the provision of continuing education.

The drug information request form is checked daily Monday through Thursday.  If you submit a request outside of normal office hours (8 AM to 5 PM EST), it will be processed the next business day.  The drug information request form is maintained and managed by the Medication Therapy Management Consultation Center (MTMCC).  The MTMCC is manned by pharmacy students and drug information specialists within the UF College of Pharmacy.  The MTMCC follows the UF academic calendar.   Every attempt will be made to notify requestors of any scheduled MTMCC closures.
