Welcome - The University of Findlay Medication Therapy Management Consultation Center (MTMCC) started in 2006 with the hope of providing pharmacy students an opportunity beyond that of a typical drug information center.The MTMCC supports the College of Pharmacy's Mission Statement by:
Purpose - The purpose of the MTMCC is to develop strong pharmacists by challenging them to combine their drug information and literature evaluation skills with medication therapy management (MTM). In the past it has been assumed that drug information and MTM were separate, but as part of the collaborative teaching approach, students learn that strong MTM skills require strong drug information skills.Mission- "The mission of the Medication Therapy Management Consultation Center is to provide the skills and opportunities for student pharmacists to respond to variety of drug information and medication therapy management requests." Contact:The MTMCC is now accepting requests for drug information (see form below) as well as ideas for MTM opportunities with partners outside the College of Pharmacy. Please contact the director (Dr. Jean Cunningham) for more information.Drug Information Request FormPlease use the link above to submit a drug information request.The drug information request form is checked daily Monday through Thursday. If you submit a request outside of normal office hours (8 AM to 5 PM EST), it will be processed the next business day. The drug information request form is maintained and managed by the Medication Therapy Management Consultation Center (MTMCC). The MTMCC is manned by pharmacy students and drug information specialists within the UF College of Pharmacy. The MTMCC follows the UF academic calendar. Every attempt will be made to notify requestors of any scheduled MTMCC closures.
