2010 Pharmacy Camp

Our third annual Pharmacy Summer Camp was held
on the campus of The University of Findlay. High school students entering their junior or senior years are encouraged to attend our overnight camp.

Three days were spent exploring topics in our professional pharmacy curriculum and how each class applies to what pharmacists do each day:
  • pharmacology
  • medicinal chemistry
  • pharmaceutics
  • pharmacotherapeutics
Each topic included “course work” along with hands-on experiences and problem-solving activities. Students also enjoyed the opportunity to explore UF’s College of Pharmacy, meet faculty members and other students who share their interest in becoming a pharmacist.
