F-1 Frequently Asked Questions
It is important for F-1 students to know and understand the rules and regulations if they want to maintain good F-1 status while studying in the United States. Failure to do so could cost them their ability to study in the United States, be sent home and hurt their chances for future opportunities for work or study. We put together a list of the most frequently asked questions. Students should familiarize themselves with these; especially the FAQ “How Do I Maintain F-1 Status?” All of these are subject to change at any time and students are encouraged to contact the Assistant Director of Immigration to discuss their case individually.
