The University welcomes new and returning students and their families this week and weekend!

New students may check in to New Student Orientation from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, or from 8-9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, in the Alumni Memorial Union.

The traditional Arch Ceremony is scheduled for approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, on the front lawn of Old Main, followed by a President’s Reception for students and their parents.

Community members will see many groups of students, faculty and staff completing service projects at local nonprofit agencies, organizations and churches in the surrounding area on Saturday, Aug. 20.

Classes for the standard fall session begin Monday, Aug. 22.
