How to Drop a Class
How to Drop or Withdraw from a Class
To be officially removed from a class you must have the course dropped from your registration. This can be done three ways:
1. Visit with your adviser and have that adviser go into you academic registration page and drop the class.
2. Take an
Add/Drop
form to your adviser, have the adviser sign the form and then take the form to the Office of the Registrar.
3. If your adviser is not available, take the
Add/Drop
form to the Program Director for your major. Have the Program Director sign off on the form and then take the form to the Office of the Registrar.
If when you check on your schedule on your academic web site, you see the course listed, then you are still registered for the course.
IMPORTANT:
Not attending class, even from the first day, does not drop you from a class. You must go through the proper procedures.
