Tenure and Promotion Workshops

Academic Technology Services serves as a clearinghouse for professional development resources. We are offering a series of faculty development workshops focusing on the areas of mid-tenure review, tenure review, and promotion. All workshops will be held prior to the November 1, 2008 deadline for application.  

Please consult the workshop schedule below for more information or contact Christine Tulley, ATS Faculty Liaison, at tulley@findlay.edu or ext. 4537. Tenure-track faculty at any stage in the tenure and promotion process are encouraged to attend.

Your CV

It's a new year, and time to update your CV again. Please bring an electronic copy or paper copy of your CV to this hands-on workshop.  We will look at effective examples of CVs and update our CVs during this one hour workshop.

Preparing Your Dossier for Tenure/Promotion Review:
Organizational Tips

Bring your CV, your tenure/promotion dossier in progress, and any questions you have to this dossier preparation workshop.  Samples of exemplary tenure/promotion review dossiers will be on hand for your review, and organizational tips will be given.

Reflection Statements
Bring your dossier in progress to share with others and to get valuable last minute feedback before the due date.  We will focus on samples of effective reflective statements for various sections.
  
 
Also: There is a selection of professional books on 3-day checkout at the front desk of Shafer Library.  They are listed under TLTC - Professional Development Resources - Tulley, and can be signed out overnight for three days.
