to Participate in Helping Hands Across America

On November 9, 2011, The University of Findlay’s dining service, Sodexo, participated in an attempt to break UF's 2010 record of 26,324 pounds of food collected in a 12 hour period.  The event is part of Sodexo's nationwide food drive.  UF Sodexo set a new UF record collecting/donating 37,271 pounds

To count toward the goal, all food items must be within the expiration dates and must not be damaged. Each donated item is recorded in a log book and witnessed by community and University representatives. Only cans collected on the day of the event will count toward the effort.  After the items have been counted and recorded, they are donated to CHOPIN Hall in Findlay, Ohio.
