Menu Planning
Contact Catering Service in the Alumni Memorial Union at least 10 days in advance of your event by calling (419)434-4645 or email
ufcatering@findlay.edu
Please be prepared to provide the following information: date, time, location of event, group organization, type of service and estimated count. Events planned with less than 72 hours notice will be subject to additional charges, and menus will be based on availability. A function may be prepared for any number of people, however, an additional labor charge will be added on functions of less than 20 guests for served meals. The selections online are a sampling of those most requested. If you have a special menu in mind, or a budget limitation, just let us know and we’ll attempt to design a menu to meet your needs.
Confirmation Sheet
After planning your event, you will receive a confirmation sheet which details your event. Please look it over for your approval.
Payment
Payment in full is required immediately following the event. Purchase Orders, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and cash are accepted. Make checks payable to Sodexo.
Estimated & Guaranteed Counts
Ten days prior to the event, an estimated count must be called into the Catering Service. Three working days prior to the event, the guaranteed count must be received. If no guaranteed count is received, then the estimated count will become the guaranteed count. We will prepare 5% over the guaranteed count up to 10 people.
Cancellation
Cancellation must be made in writing 72 hours prior to the date
of the function. A charge for all costs incurred will be assessed.
Delivery
When a delivery is made, the sponsoring organization/individual placing the order will be responsible for the equipment. Delivery charges are on-campus, $8.00, and off-campus, $15.00 plus $1.00 per mile outside the City of Findlay limits.
Gratuity & Taxes
Prices do not include sales tax or gratuities. A tax-exempt number needs to be submitted prior to the event, or state sales tax will be charged.
Quality Assurance
Because of quality assurance issues and public health regulations, we can not be responsible for food taken off-premises. Catering associates cannot make provisions to package leftover food.
Online Catering Pricing
Events held outside Alumni Memorial Union may be subject to a different pricing structure.
