Residence Halls
Bare Residence Hall for men was dedicated on May 20, 1970, honoring the memory and generosity to the College of D.M. Bare. Mr. Bare was a member of the Churches of God and a wealthy paper manufacturer. It is estimated that he gave more money to the College in its first 50 years then any other donor. In 1921, he purchased a house on College Street for use as a men's dormitory, originally intended for ministerial and religious education students. The house originally was located where Renninger is now and was moved to the site currently occupied by Myers Residence Hall.Click here for a floor plan of a typical room in Bare Hall.
