Crime Prevention

Harassment and Threats

Are you the victim of harassment or threats by a person from a former relationship? These actions could include harassing and threatening phone calls, emails, instant messages, and written letters from former boyfriends, girlfriends, or roommates.

Harassment and threats of this nature are called intrusive contact. Any incident of this type should be reported immediately to campus security. A report should also be filed with local law enforcement.

More information and tips on handling intrusive contact is available at www.humec.cornell.edu/stalking.
